Events subject to change; watch our website for updates and additions!  You are strongly encouraged to RSVP to each event’s contact person.  See contact info at bottom of this list.  Some events are in Madison and other locales; note the locations carefully.

SAT JUNE 27th – MADISON – RHYTHM AND BOOMS FIREWORKS annual outing.  Meet at the Miller/WOLX Greatest Hits Stage on the corner of N. Sherman Avenue and Northport Drive for day-long live bands and the largest fireworks show in the Great Lakes region.  Flyovers by F16 fighter jets at conclusion of National Anthem.  Parking: best bet is to pay the $10 fee charged by local churches and residents to park in their lots.  Or, park in the Madison Area Tech’l College parking lot for $4 and ride a shuttle bus to the park (roundtrip) for $5.  Obey all “no parking” signs because they ticket cars like mad that day!  Inside the fenced-in stage area where we’ll be camped for the day, there will be a steady lineup of bands playing from 2pm to 11:30pm.  During the fireworks, the stage will broadcast a medley of music underscoring the show.  Afterwards the club will hang around the park until 11:30, enjoying music until the traffic dissipates.  The Greatest Hits Stage is located in the Warner Park Soccer Field at the northeast corner of the park (Sherman and Northport), just inside the Sherman Avenue entrance to the park.  Gates open at 1pm, entry fee is $5.  Bring IDs with you in order to get a bracelet that allows beer or wine purchases.  Also bring along a camp chair or blanket, mosquito repellent, sunscreen and something to provide your own shade as we sit out in the open.  Flashlights are helpful.  NOTE: carry-ins of alcohol are not allowed in the stage area.  Food and coolers of soda and bottled water are okay.  Grilled hamburgers, brats and hot dogs are sold by vendors supporting local children’s charities.  RSVP: Please contact Deb for carpooling info/arrangements by WED the 24th at noon

FRI July 3rd – DEADLINE to RSVP for July 4th events in Cedarburg.

SAT JULY 4TH -- CEDARBURG HOMETOWN FOURTH celebration with a parade at 10am, live music all afternoon long and fireworks at dusk.   Join Deb for the best small-town Fourth of July celebration in the region!  Parade starts at 10am and lasts almost two hours.  Watch the parade from the air-conditioned comfort of the front window of the Cedarburg Coffee Roastery.  Then we’ll walk two blocks to Cedar Creek Park where a drum and bugle corps puts on a show and where there is live music all afternoon long, plus food and beverage vendors.  Fireworks display in that same park starts at dusk; we’ll sit so close you almost have to lie flat on a blanket for the best viewing!   For parade-lovers: meet Deb at the Cedarburg Coffee Roastery at 9am on Washington Avenue between Center Street and Turner Street.  Parking available along Hanover Avenue or in lots along Mill Street east of Washington Avenue.  Bring lawn chair or blankets (and flashlight if staying for the fireworks.)  Bring picnic items or purchase food from the vendors in the park.  If you want to join up later in the day, call Deb’s cell phone anytime from noon to 4pm or after 6pm.  But do RSVP to Deb by FRI the 3rd.
